153 days left

In 153 days (thanks Thao ;)) I'll probably fly to the States. I'm very, very excited although it's still a long time. But I think with this gorgeous host family I won't have any problems. They're lovely people and always saying that they'll treat me like their own daughter/sister. I can count myself really lucky to get them as my second family! They're so understanding!!
So what's up next? In May I'll have to apply for my visa and there we'll have our preparatory meeting. That will hopefully be lots of fun. All exchange students around Munich will meet each other and we'll speak about our year abroad and will get some tips from our organization and from some students which also were in the US. 
It's amazing this whole stuff making me so euphorically. :D


In 153 Tagen (danke Thao ;)) werde ich wahrscheinlich in die Staaten fliegen. Ich bin sehr, sehr aufgeregt obwohl es noch eine lange Zeitspanne ist. Aber ich denke mit dieser fantastischen Gastfamilie werde ich sowieso keine Probleme haben. Sie sind so liebenswürdige Menschen und sagen ständig, dass sie mich wie ihre eigene Tochter/ Schwester behandeln werden. Ich kann mich wirklich glücklich schätzen sie als meine zweite Familie bezeichnen zu können. Sie sind so verständnisvoll!
Ok, also was steht als nächstes an? Im Mai muss ich mein Visum beantragen und außerdem wird dann unser Vorbereitungstreffen anstehen. Das wird hoffentlich lustig werden. Alle Austauschschüler in der Nähe von München treffen sich und werden über ihr Austauschjahr sprechen. Die Organisation wird uns Tipps und Ratschläge geben und ehemalige Austauschschüler erzählen uns von ihren Erfahrungen. Es ist wirklich erstaunlich wie mich dieses ganze Zeug in Euphorie versetzt. ;)
