1 Tag

Between excitement and terrible farewells. Yes, that is how I feel. Of course, on the one hand, the BIG excitement and pleasure of my year abroad, on the other hand, the "fear" of leaving, turning around and really WALK away! Uh, man, I hope I won't get too homesick. I think the hardest part is at the airport .. After that, I'm (hopefully) so excited and busy that I won't have "time" to think of home, but there will certainly be times when it will get difficult.Tomorrow I'll have to get up EARLY and get to the airport. I think I'll only realize that I'm gone when I'm sitting on the plane and till I'll see how long or short 10 months are, it will take a while also.It isn't difficult for me to start something new and I am also willing to give up old things but some things I want never to change. And since here we have holidays, I would be able to do so many things with my friends and my family, I'm in a phase where I would like to have more time. But I would probably even say that after the holidays;)
It's better if I go now, and I am also so sure I want to.
I've just not noticed the time - it really races. Suddenly, there is only one day until I will be flying to the US.
And before that, counting the weeks and months : D

But there are so many things I am looking forward to, my host family is so accommodating, we know each other for SIX months now and that helps me so much. My host sister has suggested to try VOLLEYBALL, not that it's no fun but
1st. I'm not really sporty
2nd. it hurts
3rd. I've really no idea of it.
But I'll probably do it, I wanted to play volleyball until I tried it once at school, then I somehow lost interest ;)
Mhmh, I'll write again when I'm over there : D
